Production and Cultivation
India accounts for over 70% of the world’s basmati rice production. The areas of basmati rice production in India are in the states of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.Production capacity of one year is Approx.4.5 to 5 Million Tonnes.
